Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid TenancyDesk subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
It applies to all subscription plans purchased through tenancydesk.com.
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to begin, and you can evaluate the full product before deciding to subscribe.
If you do not choose a paid plan, the trial simply ends and you are not charged. No cancellation is needed during the trial.
Billing & Merchant of Record
Payments are securely processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Your receipts and invoices are issued by Paddle, and Paddle’s name may appear on your bank or card statement.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) until you cancel.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside the app, or by emailing support@tenancydesk.com.
- Cancellation stops any future renewal charges.
- You keep full access to your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the remaining, unused part of a paid period.
Refunds
Because the free trial lets you evaluate TenancyDesk fully before any payment, subscription fees are non-refundable once a payment has been taken.
We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods, plan downgrades, unused seats, or a change of mind after the trial has ended.
Exceptions
Two exceptions apply to the above:
- Where a refund is required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you, we will of course honour those rights.
- As Merchant of Record, Paddle may issue a refund at its discretion — for example, a duplicate charge or a proven billing error. To request a review, contact us with your Paddle order or invoice reference and we will help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated in advance. Changes are not applied retroactively to charges already made.
